Jude's Day With Daddy

Steve took Jude to the coast on his day off Friday. They had a great time and Steve got some awesome pictures.

All In A Weekend

This is the cradle that was made for me when I was born. Both kids used it briefly and had lots of fun in it yesterday just like I remember doing when I was a little girl!

Georgia sang the alphabet song yesterday at our neighborhood fall party (for a prize!)

Getting Ready For The Big Day

Georgia turns 6 next Thursday! She has decided on a lizard party...of course! We made these invitations and she'll take them to school tomorrow to pass out.

She received a gift from Grandmother and Grandpa Finn today. Penny, Felicity's horse (American Girl). Penny was her Grandmother's real horse so she HAD to get it for her :)

Marathon For Kids

Georgia is participating in the Houston Marathon for Kids. When the flyer came home, I knew that it would be just perfect for the little girl who can't wait to run in the big race with her Daddy.

The kick-off was at the University Of Houston on Saturday morning. The kids ran in large groups (they said there were 2200) and Georgia was in the 3rd or 4th group.

She did GREAT! I think they walked a little bit at the end of the run. Steve said it was 440 (?) a little less than a half mile.

Over the next 6 months they run independently, then come back to finish the "marathon" and claim their t-shirt :) Georgia got some cool stuff including a water bottle-it doesn't leak!! Yea!

Leo Returns!

This is a little lizard who lives in our kitchen window area. He is eating a huge moth in this picture!

Georgia is learning to read. She loves showing and teaching Jude whatever she learns at school.

I let Leo out of the house on Monday night. He never came back until last night. I was sure he had been eaten by an owl or an alligator. We had the signs ready to put up around the neighborhood, but praise the Lord, our prodigal son returned!

I finally figured out how to turn on the sprinkler system last night. That thing is complicated!

Georgia at her friend Jocelyn's 6th birthday party at the roller rink. Fun times!
