Steve took the kids to NAMM on Sunday. They loved it and even got their own badges.

Snuggly Children-Furry and Otherwise
Alex is slowly warming up to Courage. I love to see them sleeping together. Courage is a funny kitten. She was in the bathroom with me last night as I took a bath (on the side). I thought "well she doesn't seem to mind and she could use a bath..." So I put her in and washed her! She didn't mind at all.

Release of the turtles
We finally let our adopted turtles go live at Radnor Lake. We've had them for about 9 months or so. I had gotten kind of attached to them. They liked to be hand fed. I even held one on my lap today in the car, petting its head! I was being sentimental I guess, I mean, how much love can a turtle give you?
We saw lots of other creatures while we walked to the lake. My kids are great at spotting "creatures" as Georgia calls them. I've gotten good at it myself. I noticed a water snake from a bridge.
Pictured are a baby toad and a huge centipede, as well as the turtles we let go.
Oh yeah, and the two most adorable kids ever!!

Courage Finds A Home
I got a new kitten yesterday from Happy Tales, our local cat rescue. She is adorable, a tortie named Courage. She had 4 brothers and they rescued them and couldn't catch her til the next day, so she spent the night alone...thus the name :) She is warming up to Alex..he isn't so sure. I hope they're buddies soon. The kids love her. She is so adorable. She isn't the lover that Alex is, but she purrs like crazy when I get near her.
PS They came home with an extra snake! Mack. Jude's potty training gift (belated and guilted into). In case, you aren't familiar with Thomas the Tank Engine, most of our pets are named after trains, etc from Thomas.
My sweet mother shudders at some of our pets. She keeps suggesting I "let them go accidentally". :)

Who needs 90 degrees?
Yesterday after watching Curious George get spooked in a cave, we decided to make our own cave. We put a huge blanket over the table and played Mama Monster (me). The game continues today. We even broke out the tea set and had a tea party. I made real tea and Georgia loved it. Jude didn't like it much since it had no sugar in it!
Jude and Georgia are on top of the table wearing their "goggles".

I love sleeping babies! Especially this little guy who sleeps with his choice of one kitty and his lambie blanket. He's doing much better at not sucking his thumb during the day, but night time will be another battle for older years :)
