So this one is all about me and how I'm totally addicted to knitting and now (gasp) crocheting! One of the girls in my Sunday School class suggested that I give it up for lent :)
Steve got me the coveted Denise Needle Kit for Valentine's Day. I am so happy! I love using the circular needles for everything now.
I'm into washcloths and they are so easy and fun. I just finished the double cherry one today in about 2 hours. I'm bummed about the big yellow one. It's supposed to be a flower garden....Hmmmm. I followed it correctly and even used the needle size I was supposed to.
My first crocheted washcloth is pretty wonky, but I plan to get better as I go. I'm keeping it for myself anyway. Since I'm a girl with no dishwasher besides me, it's perfect!
Here is the patter for double cherries and springing up flowers
Here is a picture of my lovely mother-in-law with her hat. I made the same hat for Rachel.
The moral of this story is: if you know me, you're likely to get some knit or crocheted gift...or many of them.

Loving my hat! I have been wearing it quite bit as we have had snow this week. Your washcloths look so great. I love the cherry one. I need to practice knitting more.:)
PS it certainly is not selfish as many of us have been recipients of your beautiful handi-work.
Good job! I'm gonna look, I think I have some pattern books to give you. Please come to the playpit on Friday!
