Be My Valentines

Georgia saw a girl with pink hair last week and said she wanted pink hair someday. For Valentine's Day, Steve got them spray-in hair color: pink, purple, blue and black. Jude's was the messiest: blue and black. Luckily it all washed out.
This little friend is Asia, a little girl they met at the Dragon Park yesterday.

Leo

I used to hate cats. I was very allergic to cats. I got my first cat (in my adult life) for Mother's Day 2 years ago. Alex. He's awesome.

I got another kitten last summer to keep him company. Courage. She's awesome.

This orange cat started showing up at our house last year. An orange tabby boy. We named him Leo. He was very shy and would run away..until the kids charmed him. Gradually he became our cat and now he's in at night and to eat and whenever he wants to come in. He was very polite about it and didn't come in until he asked.

All three of our cats are really great, people-loving, kid-loving cats. They have been through a lot playing with a 4 and 5 year old and still they choose the kids to sleep with or talk to (yes our cats talk too! Move over Martha)

Steve made a cool tent for the kids to sleep under in Georgia's room. They love it.
Steve giving some love to Alley Cat.
There is a picture of me climbing the doorway when I was little exactly like these crazy kids. I'll have to find it.

I was just looking at pictures of Georgia from the day she was born. What a cool thing that was! I can't believe that she is 5 and going to Kindergarten this year. Look how cute she was!

I remember feeling so happy and like I had a little doll to play with :)

My neighbor just had a new baby last Sunday. I was a little jealous because I LOVE the newborn cuddliness. Then I remembered that they would be barely sleeping that night. I love my kids' independence....and the fact that they sleep all night.

The Amazing Lamm Family Circus Performers

Georgia and Jude's favorite place to play is in our bedroom, specifically on the "big, big bed". They do some crazy stuff on the bed. Most of the time I'm scared of them hurting themselves. I think we should sign them up for the circus.
